There's another accusation of rape floating around Durham this week. The accuser was allegedly attacked at a house party this Saturday.

The mainstream media has bent over backward to keep race out of this. Even those who first gave a description of the alleged rapist as a “black man” later redacted that from their reports. The News & Observer never printed it at all. And none has pointed out, as the Duke Chronicle has done, that the alleged victim was white, making this a mirror image of the Duke lacrosse case.
Some maintained all along last spring that their protests were not about race but about men’s violence against women. Still others tried to fan racial and class tensions by saying that if these were black men accused of raping a white woman, the man would be in jail. Well, now we know two things: it was always about race for the pot bangers and the Group of 88 professors at Duke, and it is demonstrably true, after Sunday’s incident, that a black man can be accused of raping a white woman and still be on the street.
It was never about protecting women. I know that because I live in a neighborhood that has the dubious honor of being the namesake of at least one serial rapist. There were few candlelight vigils; there was no national media attention; there were no pot-bangers when the women of my neighborhood couldn't take their dogs for walks at dusk. And, those black-on-white rapes just didn't bring the activist out in people the way the Duke non-rape did.
The News & Observer's omission of race is laughable:

An informative story in today's N&O from Anne Blythe explores the question of whether the current allegation, which offers no political benefit to Mike Nifong, will be handled the same way as the lacrosse case.
The answer? No.

This is hardly a "mirror image" of the Duke case. This rape appears quite likely to have actually occurred whereas by contrast there was never any reason to believe that a rape had occurred at the Duke lacrosse party.
Leave it to the MSM to do what's PC - black on white rape is no reportable - fake white on black rape is.

I wonder if the Crazy 88 professors are going to hang wanted posters all over campus with a picture of a black man in a do rag.

The false accuser is believed and promoted by the DA and the media because of her race.
In this second case, a real accuser is not promoted by the media and the DA because of her ( different ) race.
Only the hard left still believe the false charges against the LaCrosse players now.
Obviously the media are deliberately and intentionally trying to hide and protect one part of the population. The media don't want that part of the population to be held to the same standards as the rest.
It's because that part of the population commits more crime per person than the other! Can't let us know it or we might try to hold them to the same standard as us!

I bet Nifong will let this one go. It's already been established that black men never rape white women and where's the political benefit.
I don't care if the victim is black, white, pink, purple, or polka-dotted. If a woman was raped, the rapist should be castrated. Race shouldn't have anything to do with a rape case, except insofar as it helps the police find the rapist.

So it is clear that the editors at the N&O purposefully edited out that it was a black man.
To treat this frat like they did the LAX players:
Suspect should be followed by media
And his friends should have members of the KKK following him and anyone he knows and threatening them
The frat should be punished and have their behavior looked at under a microscope.
His past should be looked into and reported on
Numerous stories about black men raping white women should be written
The DA should be giving speeches and whipping up racial tensions
Guy should be convicted before stepping into a court room
Nifong has urged Duke to cancel the rest of the Lacrosse season and to fire the new coach. The victim will be asked to pick out her rapist from a photo lineup of lacrosse players.
Nifong will pander to his voters.
That he still is a member of the bar is awful.
