No one outside of CA or FR has ever heard of Duncan Hunter. There's lots of time I guess, but without a little more name recognition, he's not going to make it very far at all.

They should run as Clinton/Gooeyani. That would really be "bipartisan." They would probably even be a close match, if they were married to each other. But the likely imagery involved is rather nauseating to us healthier people.

I get it now.
Most of the News outlets are in New York.
Hillary is a New York Senator.
Rudy is from New York.
Coincidence? I think not.

Hillary hasa 58% favorable and Rudy has 66% favorable!
Hillary has 40% unfavorable, Rudy only has 22% unfavorable opinion!
(Link to poll in the article)
Looks like Rudy has a good chance against Hillary.

It is awesome!
Ed Goeas of The Tarrance Group posted the information on another thread to me with the following that puts it in perspective:
"I case you missed it USAToday has a new poll out tonight with Giuliani up by sixteen-points over McCain. Comparing apples to apples, Rudy was up four-points a month ago. Unlike some of the speculation it looks like the more they see and hear about Rudy -- the better he does."

I really like a Rudy/Mitt ticket, once the dust clears.
Also could establish a line of succession.

He goes back and forth between not even registering ( less than 1%) and actually making it to ONE full percent!
Real momentum.

I haven't been paying much attention the past few weeks, but has there been any mention of Mark Sanford as a possible VP candidate. From his bio, he sounds perfect.

I was thinking back to 1999 and it got down fairly quickly to Bush and McCain and the other guy who wouldn't drop out. Last three debates only had the three of them if I remember right.
