If you're looking for someone who can represent the conservative wing of the Republican Party in 2008, California Congressman Duncan Hunter fills that bill far better that any of the top contenders who have already gotten into the race. Here's a short, but sweet primer that may help explain why that's the case.

Slightly dated, but a good read.
"In important electoral-vote-rich states like Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, Hunter's message will resonate with working class Democrats who might not otherwise vote Republican."

"There is one area in particular where Duncan Hunter departs from the conservative orthodoxy and that's on trade issues. He's neither a fan of free trade agreements like NAFTA and CAFTA, nor does he think we're getting a square deal on trade from China.
Although many Republicans will disagree with Hunter on this issue, many Democrats find themselves nodding their heads in agreement with what he has to say."

Why are you guys posting old Hunter news articles?
Seriously, I haven't seen any new Hunter news stories this week. Why is that?
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
Why is that? Because the MSM likes your guy Rudy.

Micky Mouse has a better chance of both capturing the Republican nomination and of beating Hillary, than Duncan Hunter.
In R polls he polled less than 1%

I am all for free trade, I believe America can compete with anyone in the world. Hunter has stated he supports free trade but is unwilling to be taken advantage of with unfair practices. This is going to appeal to independents and moderate democrats, especially in union states, Mich, Ohio, Penns. Many union guys are pro gun, pro-life and opposed to gay marriage.

If any of the current top three gets the nomination, I'll stay at home before I vote for any of them. What is the difference between a RINO president and a 'Rat president? NOTHING!

I'm keeping an eye on his Wikipedia page - its already been vandalized once but somebody else caught it and quickly fixed it... And that was before he declared.
The nature of the vandalism surprised me. They redirected the link for Hunter campaign site to the John Cox for President page.
