The co-founder of the Gaydar brand has been found dead outside his south London apartment.
Gary Frisch, who launched the online dating website in 1999, was found lying injured on the ground outside his Commodore House flat on Saturday.
Police are investigating whether the 38-year-old, from South Africa, fell or jumped from his eighth floor balcony.
A Wandsworth CID spokeswoman said the death was "unexplained". The death is not being treated as suspicious.
'Highly regarded'
Prior to launching Gaydar, Mr Frisch co-founded IT consultancy firm QSoft, after moving to the UK from South Africa in 1997.
In a statement, QSoft's directors said: "It is with great regret that we make this announcement. Gary was a highly regarded leader and colleague who cared first and foremost about the gay and lesbian community that we serve.
"He was an accomplished entrepreneur and a very generous man who also cared deeply about the people who worked for and with him."
A spokesman for QSoft said an event planned to take place in London this Thursday to mark the fifth birthday of GaydarRadio would go ahead as planned.
I hope you get your wish. :)
Dude, that's gay.
That would only be gay if it was 8 strapping lads.
It's only gay if the hilarious comedy is "When Harry met Sally", or "Pretty Woman".
In this case I think 'Probed" is a verb...
Statistically, a 10 foot fall has a 50% fatality rate.
As God is my witness, I thought fairies could fly...
80fps or 54mph.
Death Fall: Gaydar Founder Probed!
At the bottom.
Beatific!
Who gets his log cabin?
Back in the 1970s a plane exploded mid air over Switzerland. Everyone was killed except for one girl who fell thousands of feet and survived. Granted, she landed in very deep snow and broke several bones, but she was still alive.
I was in England at the time and saw her being interviewed. She said she was sitting in the plane and all of a sudden there was a loud noise and everything disappeared except her. She said she was still in a sitting position all the way down. The story scared me so much, I was afraid to fly back to the US and thought about just staying in England for the rest of my life. There is no way I would ever get back on a plane after going through what she went through.
I thought free-falling bodies flew faster than that.
And I assume the acceleration rate increases the further they fall.
Either way, I'm sure a hefty bag was needed when he hit the ground.
A GLAAD Hefty Bag.

Feathers and chocolate don't really mix well...
Could have died from "concrete poisoning"!
