C-SPAN One carrying Romney announcement live....
Here we go... and the lovely Anne Romney takes the stage. Nice dress - weird color.
Ah - first George Romney reference... former governor of Michigan - lead Republican in 1968 until he admitted to being "brainwashed" over Vietnam by the Pentagon... and that was all she wrote.
big family.
that's one big family.... could be an AMWAY distributorship all by itself
he certainly LOOOKS presidential... and that the first threshold that needs to be crossed... people have to be able to envision you in the job you are running for.
Good opening.... but he needs to talk about himself, not his father.
I'm pretty sure this is also being broadcasted on his website
http://mittromney.com
Fox, MSNBC covering it live now... but CNN is discussing shot-down helicopters in Iraq.
Creeps.
it would not surprise me.... Romney's father built AMC.... the father of the Gremlin and the Pacer
You're not that far off in your assessment.
The big announcment was in SC a couple weeks ago.
this is a very good speech at the outset... full of imagery that people can associate with and can feel good about.
"innovation and transformation in government" -- now the big work starts.... don't like the lost faith in government remark.... does not bode well for the supporters of limited government.
The Rosa Parks reference was nice. It shows inclusiveness.
aha -- pickng up the Gingrich mantra about being unable to transform Washington from the inside.
MSNBC keeps it LIVE..go there.
sw
yes. he is going to have a tough row to hoe given the morman record on blacks.
and we have the money shot.
As of now, Mr. Romney is my choice!
FoxNews dropped the announcement to get back to coverage of the contents of Anna Nichole Smith's refrigerator.
CPAN2 is covering it.
