That's really a canard, EV.
But you do so love to lie; I guess you just can't help it. :-)

Since you don't even know what those words mean, I suggest that you get yourself a good dictionary. What words? There are plenty on this thread, you know.
I should expect such a childish attack from a Giuliite

So Rudy's solid conservative record as NYC Mayor means nothing to you. What, like appointing almost all Dems to the bench?
Breaking the law to protect hundreds of thousands of illegal foreign invaders?
Grabbing guns?
That "conservative" record?
Are you a liberal public school teacher? I ask because you sure are trying to dumb down the populace and change the clear meaning of words.

What's exactly is your defintion of conservative? Rudy is a fiscal and national security conservative. He supports the troops 100% and is the only candidate I've heard who'll take on our entitlement programs. Sorry, I consider entitlement programs and the size of government more important than social issues that a President has little control over. Rudy believes in the free market economy. Duncan Hunter voted in favor of many liberal spending bills and programs.

"Would you or would you not support Rudy Giuliani if he were the party's nominee? What do you say, Sam and Tom and Tommy and Ron and Mike?"
I would hope they would not. You might as well vote for a democrap as vote for Rudy.

Being despised and treated haughtily by you is pretty much a badge of honor to any real conservative.

Help me out here, please. Have any Presidential candidates won without carrying their home states?

LOL Now you're engaging in pure political sophistry. Next we'll be seeing you post out and out psychobabble. So are you going to refute the post or continue laughing nervously as your candidate becomes more and more irrelevant.
To: babygene
No .. he didn't lose. He left the race because of medical problems.
And .. if you aren't supporting Rudy .. just who are you supporting .. HILLARY ..??

Giuliani is in the process of "re-packaging" himself. I don't and won't trust anyone who has to do that. All the tape and string won't hold all that liberalism from seepimg out. Repackaging=flip flopping on issues.

ROTFLMSO!
You and your ilk don't engage in debate at all; no, you spam threads, befoul the keyword section, hurl invectives and specious attacks on those not walking in lock step with you and run to the Mods, when the going gets tough.

Sorry, I consider entitlement programs and the size of government more important than social issues that a President has little control over. Rudy believes in the free market economy. As I stated earlier, the president has the most influential role in ending murder. You may not care about abortion, as you are not in danger of being torn apart.
I don't support Hunter, by the way.

I think this article is on to something. You can't just judge a candidate based on the balance of their stated positions on various issues. After eight years of George Bush, many Americans will be eager to have a president that doesn't make us all cringe when he speaks publicly. Giuliani would clearly be a very strong leader, and that should not be underestimated.

And WHAT will you do when Rudy is the GOP presidential nominee?
To: babygene
You might as well vote for a democrap
That's been the mantra on every Rudy thread - and it doesn't work for 'those in the know'.
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
"Bringing up comparisons to a dictator means you automatically lose the argument."
That fallacious canard is often used by advocates of one particular dictator.

Maybe we should start calling him "Benito." That would really get 'em stirred up...
