I dunno who "chooses" them... but most awards, (Grammys, Oscars, etc) are Political choices now, and should be ignored as propaganda. (IMO)
They should have called it what it was. 5 grammies for bashing Bush.
How long until they are nominated for Nobel prize? Carter got one for largely doing the same thing the Dixie Chicks did.
The Grammys are a music industry circle jerk. They protect their own regardless of morality or principle.
Thus the entertainment industry once again gives the American public a one finger salute.

The GRAMMY's vote on each other. Natalie was a whore for the left and she is too stupid to figure it out. Oh well, keep her talking, the more she talks, the more her true colors will be shown. She is not a bright person, she does have a good voice but there was no way they should have won last night. Much better talent was there, but it was a "shove it " in the eye of President Bush and conservatives. After all we who brought them to the dance, have left them but their hollywood liberal "new friends" is using them and they are too in the moment to figure it out.
So they won awards for an album noone bought and concerts noone went to.

Couple this with what they have been doing regarding DRM and you have a fairly complete picture of what they think about their customers.
All awards and prizes are political choices now. The Pultizer in all categories, the Nobel in all categories, all book awards, the Oscars, all art grants and prizes ---
all political. All given to advance the Democrat/leftist agenda.
The votes are cast by people in the industry. My son is taking an audio production class, and his prof. is a member.
I guess the award had nothing to do with album and concert sales?
I understand Carter got a Grammy for his reading of his lame book.
It's the same thing as people like Harold Pinter and Jimmy Carter winning Nobel prizes. Pinter hadn't written anything worthwhile in 30 years, and Carter hasn't done anything in recent years but kiss the asses of various dictators and bash Bush. But if you bash Bush, you'll get an award.
