I dunno who "chooses" them... but most awards, (Grammys, Oscars, etc) are Political choices now, and should be ignored as propaganda. (IMO)

All awards and prizes are political choices now. The Pultizer in all categories, the Nobel in all categories, all book awards, the Oscars, all art grants and prizes ---


all political. All given to advance the Democrat/leftist agenda.

Oscars have become pretty much the in-group with their agenda swooning over themselves. The Globe awards never had credibility.
