It was a roundabout endorsement, to be sure, but Hillary Rodham Clinton Sunday cited none other than White House political adviser Karl Rove to make her case that she is the most electable Democrat in 2008.
Campaigning in New Hampshire, Clinton claimed that she -- and her husband, the former president -- are the Democrats that Rove and other leading Republican handicappers fear most.
"I know what Gingrich tells people privately, I know what DeLay tells people privately, I know what Karl Rove tells people privately," she said. "I'm the one person they are most afraid of. Bill and I have beaten them before, and we will again."

Oh, so now Hillary thinks she can channel the private remarks of Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, and Tom Delay?!?!
Here, Hillarity, I'll do a better job of channeling their innermost private thoughts for you:
Newt: "Hmmmm, that Hillary Clinton, she's truly the most vicious and dishonest person I've ever met....."
Delay: "That Hillary, if anyone can make a snake like Bill Clinton seem more lovable in comparison, she can....."
Rove: "Oh, Hillary, your depravity is surpassed only by your egomaniacal delusions of significance. I would be happy to filet you in a national campaign."
She's got a 25 point lead on her nearest Democrat opponent- that means she IS the candidate we have to take most seriosuly.
At this point, I think Rudy gives us the best chance to beat her. No matter what they say now, Hillary is so polarizing that most social conservatives will walk through a blizzard to vote for Rudy against her. And Rudy has the highest likeability ratings of any candidate in the race.
