Anna's Fridge After Death--Methadone and Slimfast Posted Feb 11th 2007 12:46PM by TMZ Staff Filed under: Anna Nicole Smith
TMZ has obtained a photo of the inside of Anna Nicole Smith's refrigerator taken after she died, and the contents are shocking on several levels. TMZ has 100% verified the authenticity of this photo. The refrigerator, which was inside Anna Nicole's bedroom in the Bahamas, contained methadone (5 mg per 5 ml). The small refrigerator contained cans of Slim-Fast-- ironic, since Smith was TRIMSPA's spokesperson. Several bottles of TRIMSPA sat right next to the fridge.
The fridge also contained Miracle 2000 (marketed as a nutritional supplement for "today's active lifestyle"), French's Worcestershire Sauce, yogurt and spray butter. It also appears there are vials of injectable medicines.
The methadone is compelling, as Smith's son Daniel died from a combination of drugs that included methadone. Law enforcement sources in the Bahamas tell TMZ that at least one witness has come forward and said Howard K. Stern supplied Daniel with methadone just before he died, and flushed the remaining stash down the toilet. That witness is expected to testify next month at the coroner's inquest into Daniel's death.
Now Stern is placed in the same home with another stash of methadone -- the home he shared with Smith.
TMZ has confirmed that law enforcement in the Bahamas is aware of the contents of the refrigerator.
I think the yellow container is "I Can't Believe it's not Butter."
what is the methadone for? its generally used to help someone beat a heroin addiction, but there doesn't seem to be evidence of that here - so what's it for? where are they getting it from?
My G-D...Worcestershire sauce!
Somebody on the big thread said it's used as a pain med.
I can't believe it's not heroin!
You know, this whole thing sounds like a script from, "Murder She Wrote" or "Columbo" : Smith has baby (heir) and Stern has his name put on birth certificate as father, Smith's grown son (heir) dies mysteriously, and now Smith dies mysteriously. It's almost too cliche' to be true, but doesn't it look a bit suspicious that Stern is the common denominator here? Especially since he would be the one who could end up with all of the estate (if it ever gets settled).
At least one of the injectables looks like it might be B-12, the one with the red cap still on it. The three vials that have been opened (no red cap) look like they might also be B-12.
But I'm not sure if there are other injectables that look similar.
You might be right. While methadone is used to take the place of addictive heroin, it too is addictive. And I can see how one might use it as a painkiller also.
LMAO!
I'm constantly amazed at what folks are interested in. When I die, promise me you won't post a photo of what's in my refrigerator--LOL!
LOL!!!
Nothing in her fridge is growing hair. She's got one up on me from several years ago.
Methadone is pharmaceutical heroin. Switching addicts from heroin to methadone is a way to have their addiction controlled so they are not struggling for that next fix on the street. It trades one addiction for another. Methadone is actually stronger than heroin, it is very long acting and the metabolites stored in the bones. That is why detoxing from methadone is worse than heroin, their bones feel like they are breaking...
You laugh now, but throw in some vodka and tomato juice and that's a Bloody Mary coming at you!
Methadone can be used for treating narcotic addiction as well as chronic pain. It's relatively cheap compared to other pain killers from what I understand. The main benefit is that it lasts much longer than other drugs. I think the article said she may have been getting it from her lawyer.
It was the spray butter that did her in... that stuff is evil. ;-)
BTW... refrigerated Worcestershire sauce? I don't recall seeing a "refrigerate after opening" warning.
Okay, whats in there? Green fuzzy mold a 3 month old chinese take-out? LOL
I don't find it shocking at all. She was always high.
Looks like a mini fridge that she had stocked with her essentials
