Chinooks (Boeing CH47) flying over Bangalore's greens

C 17 - This flight was my personal fav

More from the C 17 flight

Bell 407 Static Display

The GE 404 engines that oneof India's fighter projects (LCA Tejas) currently uses

Lockheed's F16 Block C/D lands (this one came in from Iraq to participate at the Air Show)

Hmmm...

While the F16 made little impact, the Super Hornets were showstoppers!! (F18's & Su30's were the best fighters on the show)

More Chinooks..
More pics on http://aeroindia.org .. Ohh btw one day to go before the show ends .. :)

It would be a good choice for India to go with NATO compatible equipment.

Much of our Air Force is flying Russian planes, and this would only gradually change..

Hey, you could have the Pols do NATO upgrades to your Russian aircraft. The Polish Air force still flies lots of Russian equipment, and just got a few F-16 fighters in the last year.

really...NATO, stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization...last time I looked, India was one hell of a long way from the North Atlantic...the temperatures in India, are in 100s most of the year, whereas, NATO counties, the temps are in 40s to 60s....do you think that CH-47 can carry NATO gross load, in India, 110 degrees and 96% humidity....all the international flights, land and take off around 0300 local in order to maximize their payloads, otherwise, they never get off the ground in the day time heat....

Without the picture of the Russian women from the other AeroIndia post (keyword: INDIA), this post is disadvantaged.
