Critics charge that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is abusing the perks of power by asking for a jumbo military jet with sleeping accommodations for her flights across the country.
After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Pentagon agreed to provide the speaker, who is second in the line of presidential succession, with a military plane for added security during trips back home.
Former House Speaker Dennis Hastert, an Illinois Republican, flew in a small commuter-sized Air Force jet.
Pelosi wants a larger aircraft that can fly to her San Francisco district without stopping to refuel.
Some sources are claiming that Pelosi demanded access to the C-32, which seats 45 and has a stateroom for the primary passenger, a conference facility, an entertainment system and three convertible beds.

Pelosi's got money !! If she wants a bedroom so bad, she should buy her own G4 and put one in it.
I cannot get too worked up about this. Private jets are always outfitted to suit their owners' needs. Makes perfect sense for a busy person to sleep on the plane, and why condemn whoever it is to sleeping all scrunched up in a seat?
Choose your battles, this one is inconsequential.

These politicians that put themselves on some pedestal (or throne) and think there is nothing wrong with their behavior make me sick! More proof the Government is too big and totally dysfunctional.
If so, I could only imagine how much coinage it would cost to fire up the bird she wants for weekend round-trippers D.C./SF/D.C.

Inconsequential to the tune of $100,000 per trip ,15 members of the armed services waiting on her hand and foot and a United States aircraft that cannot be used for anything else because it must stand by for Madame Speaker.
Did you know that Pelosi is 2nd in line for the presidency(sarcasm)? and VERY scary each time I think of it, which I try not to do.

Irritating as heck too! If the WH is playing politics to give her a larger plane, then I don't approve of that either. In fact, I am tired of kumbaya!
