Come on! Rudy isn't even in the ball park, I can't even take his supporters seriously. He is the most unrepublican candidate out there. What is happening?
I agree with you. It's ridiculous.
Reality is setting in that Rudy is popular, practically no other Republican is, and possibly the social conservatives are losing their total control over the Republican Party. That is not sitting well with those who are comfortable demanding 100% compliance with a laundry list of policies, but who have never learned to compromise to get some of what they want when they don't hold all of the cards.

Just HOW involved are you/have you EVER been in politics...1)you watch T.V., listen to the radio and vote 2) #1 and you stick a yard sign in your lawn ands/or a sticker on your car 3) #1 and #2 you have plan on addressing/stuffing envelops 4) #1,2,3, and you man phone banks and/or go door to door 5) all of that and more.
How long have you taken an active interest in politics and how much factual political history do you really know?
What's happening is that primary season got pushed up, further and further in the past decade or so, the GOP stopped grooming future candidates, and Rudy is NOT nearly as liberal as you claim he is.
