Pelosi now thinks of herself as queen of the Learjet Liberals and needs a vanity flying castle to prove it. Much of the kneepad talk in this article was skipped. It must be election time because the newspapers have turned into DNC operatives again.

No, she thinks she's queen of much more than that. One of these days there's likely to be a monumental catfight between Nancy and Hillary over who is Queen of All There Is.

This all goes back to Hastert's pork. The pubbies don't have a leg to stand on here.

When liberals like author Epstein stop complaining about every little thing they can blame on Republicans, I will stop complaining about Pelosi's airplane.

One would think the liberals in San Francisco would be outraged that Pelosi was even contemplating leaving such a "large carbon footprint" in order to go between home and DC.
They're such hypocrites.

But he denied pressuring the Pentagon. "I don't need to pressure them. I just tell them what they need to do," Murtha said. Oh, OK.

Murtha said he is convinced the Pentagon has been leaking information about the possibility that Pelosi would use large military planes to make her look bad. But he said, "They're making a mistake when they leak it because she decides on allocations for them,'' referring to the Pentagon budget.
ain't nothin like admitting blackmail, huh...

If refueling is the real issue, she should just lease a Gulfstream V and bill the government. It would be cheaper than operating the military C32 (B757).
However, if the real purpose is to haul around her "posse" of hangers-on and MSM lackeys wherever she goes, then she should go pound sand. And fly coach on American, to learn how the poor people live. ;)

The GOP is not the source making a big deal about Pelosi's plane. It is Samoa Nancy herself. She is the one who was not content with the status quo and insisted on a constly, highly polluting, military-weakening change. The Pentagon has said no--- that the status quo is good enough. So anything more heard on it is all Pelosi's doing.

There is no reason she can't use Hastert's plane.
I heard an argument by one of the liberal kooks that she'd need it to be more women friendly.
Okay then a remodel would be in order of Hastert's plane.

She knew what plane came with the job. If she didn't like it, she shouldn't have taken the job. Wouldn't it be nice if EACH member of congress had a huge plane to fly back home in comfort? Oh, but what about the environment and all that fuel she would be using??
