That's BS. There are a lot of us upset with Bush over this. This particular incident just magnifies the continued weakness in his policy.
If you honestly believe that many conservatives are nothing but seminar posters, you are dreaming. Bush has shattered the republican party and it's showing up more and more everyday. 2006 elections should have shown proof of this for you. If things do not change, 2008 is going to be even worse.

Maybe you should take a dose of STFU for a bit. Have you heard the lies that Bush's 'spokesman' Tony Snow told Sean Hannity last week regarding the trial transcripts? And don't forget that it is the Bush administration that has been lying to congress about the character of the agents, and that it is the Bush administration that has been treating our Border Patrol Agents and the Minutemen as the enemy.

Tony Snow also "spun" Laura Ingraham with his pronouncement that she should "read the transcript" of this trial. Nice Tony! There IS no transcript! Sheesh. They can't even keep up with all the lies.
Get a grip. Every prosecutor in the justice department, every BP agent and supervisor, and every DHS official is not under the direct tutelage and influence of the President. He'd be pretty damn busy overlording the 10s of thousands of cases and prosecutions and acquitals and investigations, now wouldn't he?
So he does the right thing by agreeing to review the case when approached by Duncan Hunter and others, and you think he's the devil for not raising his hand and dismissing it on the spot.
I'm afraid you're in for a very rude awakening.
