New evidence? New, they say? Where have these guys been for the past several years?

Proves there can really be no rest for the weary. I am going to have to look into this door painting episode. I can see it being a useful tool to get my husband to do what he puts off doing when awake!

I see a new excuse for politicians, pedophiles, actors, war protesters and NYTimes columnists.

Trouble with all meds is that they alter the chemical balance in the body. That has to have some adverse effect. Could be mild, could be severe. These side effects could be frequent, or they could happen in 1 in 20 million cases. But they happen.

My grandmother was smart -- never took any kind of medication, not even an aspirin when she had a headache. Might have been why she lived into her 90's.

reports of people sleep-driving while on the medication

Sounds kind of dangerous.

Just talked to my cousin last night (he first hubby died from pancreatic cancer) and she related new info on her stolen and wrecked vehicle. This happened a couple of weeks ago. She reported her vehicle stolen and wrecked. It was sitting back in front of her apt and had been wrecked - badly. It wasn't until the next few days after she had trouble breathing and swallowing and had bruises come up on her that she went to her doctor. She was told that it was the Ambien she was taking and that she was broken some ribs. Seems she was the one who did the damage and did not remember a thing about it. It causes the sleep driving and amnesia. She had a heck of a time trying to convince the police there in Plano that she wasn't trying to cover for anyone. LOLL Told them to look at her bruises. Bad drug, IMO, for some.
