I see a new excuse for politicians, pedophiles, actors, war protesters and NYTimes columnists.
You are right, some do use medications as an excuse. But I have found out the hard way that some new drugs do cause awful side effects.
A member of my family takes Miraplex for Parkinsons. Anyone can google it and find out about the bad side effects , although it is a miracle drug that enables patients to continue walking,etc.
It has easy to see warnings on the label now, which was unfortunately not the case for 3 years. My family member had no idea what was causing his compulsive gambling which he had no interest in before.
