Feb. 6, 2007 - Over the last decade, Ive seen both good Rudy and bad Rudy up close. The question for voters as he enters the presidential campaign is: which Rudy Giuliani will show up on the trailand which Rudy would go to work in the White House? And if even a little of the bad Rudy is still around, does that make him temperamentally unsuited to the presidency?

Rudy is a gun-grabber. He is unfit for ANY public office, for that alone.

If you're planning on making that a major issue .. it won't fly! Rudy only did it once - for a charity event. Since Trump was in on the gag with Rudy .. you're trying to make something out of nothing.

It must be nice being intellectually lazy, posting the same spam on every thread, and never having to think an original thought in these discussions.

Instead of working AGAINST someone .. why not work FOR someone .. it's much easier.
Instead of spending all your time BASHING someone .. it's better to explain the GOOD QUALITIES of the candidate you support. Try it, you'll like it.

Thankfully we have primaries to knock out RINOs like Guiliani.
If I want someone with Hilary Clinton's liberal positions, I would have moved to NY and voted for the Arkansas carpetbagger.
But for 9/11 rudy guliani would have the same gravitas as christine todd whitman.

Fox poll has him at 65% - I think that's a little more than 35%.

Well .. since the Admin moderator has already told you to stop it .. I'd take that advice seriously .. unless you'd rather be banned altogether ..?? Hillary wouldn't like that.

Unfortunately, if your wishes come to pass, we will all have Her Heinous, Queen Hillary.
The Dims are terrified of Rudy. They're desperate and don't know how to deal with a candidate like Rudy, so they try and smear him and trick voters into hating him.
If Rudy is the best candidate who can keep Queen Hillary from claiming her throne, so be it.
Stop the insanity now!

Perhaps you didn't understand me. A political hack is a political hack, no matter what the stripe.
Having a complete SOCIALIST would be much better than a repub anyday!!
That's right. Because only someone with Socialist leanings would sign NCLB into law, as well as the largest healthcare bill this nation has ever seen. Oh wait, that was a Republican. Remind me again of the difference?
This is yet another reason why the citizens of the respective states shouldn't be casting votes for President. They care less about Constitutional limitations and more about who they feel all warm and fuzzy inside about.

Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do and how you do it.
Rudy GiulianiWar is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.

Uh, right. Have you been folliwng the Duncan Hunter threads at all?
BTW, telling the truth about someone's record is not "bashing". Rudy is a liberal. If you vote for him, you're voting for a liberal. If you send him money, you're sending money to a liberal.
That's not bashing. It telling the truth.

Polls this early are meaningless. They only measure name-recognition. If you put your faith in them, you're living in a fool's paradise.

Think back to when W first came on the scene in the 2000 Presidential election. He brought all his conservative values with him, praised Jesus and we all loved him and voted for him. Look how close that election was. He won a highly contested race by only a couple hundred votes. Fast forward to 2008. The left despises Bush and will come out in force to put a Democrat in the White House. We couldn't get the numbers in '06 to hold on to the House and Senate. Isn't it better to take states like NY, NJ, PA and Florida and pull off a decisive win and at least hold on to the White House? The rats will do far more damage in 4 years than Giuliani ever will. I think he'll come around and work with us.
