Saying he's "more of a Reaganite than Ronald Reagan," a group of military veterans are backing the presidential candidacy of U.S. Congressman Duncan Hunter, (R-Calif.) Just a hunch but I think if RR were alive and the choice were between Hunter and McCain it's pretty obvious to me which one he'd be supporting.

The more I see, the more I like.

Pajamasmedia.com has a weekly poll that could use an influx of Hunter support, too.

O'Conner was a payoff to Barry Goldwater, I'm sure Duncan would be above such petty politics if he could get more than 1% of the vote.
Amnesty is a little extreme though Ronald Reagan did not shut the borders as in retrospect he might.
However, I really don't believe this California hack can hold a candle to a man who 1) got rid of Jimmy Carter, 2) got rid of double digit inflation and interest rates 3) rebuilt the American military 4) destroyed the Soviet Empire.
This is really not a serious conversation.

Thanks for the notice about Glenn Beck's web-poll. Not surprisingly, Mitt Romney is leading by a wide margin. I'm sure the fact that he and Glenn are co-religionists has nothing at all to do with that... :-)
I encourage Hunter-ites to go there and vote:

But yes, I will support the GOP nominee who ever that is.
Good to hear. That's part of Hunter's strength--the politics over principles crowd will vote for him regardless.
How about you?
I'm not part of the politics-over-principles crowd.

That sounds more like Julie-Annie's job.

Yup, I have... and have a J-school degree.
Is literacy still a requirement for one of those?

This is really not a serious conversation. Oh, come now. I'm sure with a little more effort, you could manage it. DH4WH

What has you so upset today?
Patty's obviously one the one assigned by the Rudy McRomney guys to bash Hunter on this thread.
Let him! Every time he posts, he sends this article right back to the top of the heap.
