Is your wife a guy? Given all the Rudy in drag pictures I keep seeing on these threads, that one made me laugh out loud...
To: Peach
You've spent thread after thread bashing Reagan in an effort to minimize Giuliani's liberal views. Ronald Reagan was a fiscal and social conservative, Rudy Giuliani is not. Your attempting to equate Reagan's failings with those of Giuliani to mask his true ideology.
I'd watch the accusations of making stuff up or we might rescind the "Medal of Freedom".

You keep mentioning what legislation President Reagan supposedly pushed.
I'd like to see some references.

I questioned that earlier, I thought he specifically said he had no problem with domestic partnerships not civil unions.
We need a transcript, hopefully one will go up soon.

WRONG! Post # 554 didn't interest me at all.
Find that voting record you have hypnotized yourself into believing exists?

Thats probably true. Its a very sad day for the Republican party.
Have you read any of Jim Robinsons vanities lately?
The one today was quite thoughtful and sad.
To: narses
He got a school deferment the same way that CHENEY did!
Are you now saying that Dick Cheney can't take over, if anything happened to the president, because he never served?
algore and Kerry served, ergo, in your vein of thinking, these men would be great military leaders.
To: HonestConservative
No you are not wrong. The mud slinging on these threads is sickening, and consequently most who otherwise would, do not bother to post. It's pretty bad when FReepers are being turned off.
Debating is what primaries are for. Nothing says we are all going to agree on all the candidates in a primary, nor should we. Vetting candidates is what the primaries are for. Otherwise, we wouldn't have them, and they wouldn't be open for voting.
There is also nothing un-Republican about not supporting ANY candidate in a primary election. They are all Republicans, so supporting one and not the other is no reason to bash a poster. We are not talking about not supporting a Presidential candidate who is "R", it's the PRIMARIES!!! And those of us who want to see a Conservative are proud of that.

work for the U.S. Attorneys Office in 1970.Bingo, that's exempt. And the draft was about over.
1968 to 1970, it was nice of the judge. My guess Rudy wasn't hanging in Haight-Ashbury

If Rudy said he liked the Pope, Reagan Man would insist he lost votes because protestants would be shocked, shocked to find out Rudy is Catholic.
To: Peach
If you got seventy-five or eighty percent of what you were asking for, I say, you take it and fight for the rest later, and that's what I told these radical conservatives who never got used to it. Absolutely right.
But the problem is when you are offered 10 to 20 percent, and told to like it.

I think I have been here long enough that I have slowed down...but let me go to Colorado and visit for even a day..and my speech speeds WAY up!! LOL
It would be funny to watch a Hillary v. Rudy debate.
Rudy talks so fast...and Hillary always talks like she is speaking to a bunch of morons, so slow and condescending.
To: Sunnyflorida
If guys like Rudy want to infringe on the right to bare arms Something wrong with that statement. He never talked about bare arms, or bare legs for that matter.

When Sean Hannity wants to, he can "act" like a good conservative. Tonight wasn't one of those nights. In that regard, Sean is no different then the contingent of Rudy-Rooters right here on FR. Not one hardball question did Sean ask Rudy tonight. Not one!

Wish I could have seen it. Course I like making fun of those perverts.Dear Clueless:
Making fun of what happened to the Jews in German is not 'fun.'
Somebody had the sense to pull it.
