I'm not a Ford person except for the affection one might have as a kid for their hometown guy who becomes president. But I know what Ford said was true, it's been known for years. Feel free to post his campaign stops if you can refute...there is arguably one as I remember from a research paper.

As for Rudy, I like him yes. I haven't decided if I'm supporting him.

More trash talk about Reagan, from a man that Reagan almost took the nomination away from. Came that close. Ford was worthless.

Its Feb6th here in Colorado...... Happy B-Day Mister President Reagan.

With a Q scorea measure of celebrity likability among the hoi polloiin the toilet, missus clinton can win elections only by running virtually unopposed...

And then only with the help of protheses, props, poses, PR machines, scripted appearances, screened audiences, vetted questions, Secret Service barracades, secret police, softball settings and sycophantic hosts... fictionalizing, 'humanizing,' digitizing and otherwise hiding the real hillary clinton.

And then we have the baggage....

Anyone else but a clinton would have been summarily laughed off the stage.

HILLARY CLINTON'S Q SCORE

What do you expect him to say?
The truth?
While he was the “Republican Mayor” of New York City he appointed more than 60 men and women to the Civil, Criminal, and Family Court benchs. In all of those judicial appointment not one of them was a Republican.

All of his judical appointments were either registered Liberals or registered Democrats. As the “Republican Mayor” he had appointment power over more than 70 full commissioners in more than 50 City agencies, yet at no time during his administration did REPUBLICANS account for more than 10% of those appointments.

He even appointed Chuck Schumers wife as the City’s Department of Transportation Commissioner.

“And even as we grieve for those who lost their lives, and our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their loved ones, we may be able to find some sort of meaning in this tragedy by using it as a catalyst to revive national gun control efforts.”
Rudolph Giuliani

Instead he became a liberal gungrabber. And an abortion on demand type. A RINO.

East Side, West Side, riding through the parks
We started swinging at Jilly's then we split to P.J.Clark's
On to Chuck's Composite, then a drink at The Stork
We won't get home until morning 'cause we're going to take a walk
On the sidewalks of New York

And with that I must be off to bed...I love New York :)

"Hannity is right when he said that the American people don't know what's in store for them with a President Rudy press conference. Haha!"

He is referring to the fact that when Rudy was Mayor, he held a Press conference every single day. And they went at him. And he always triumphed.

When asked by Sean " So, who is the bigger Yankee Fan, you or Hillary"?, Rudy responded without skipping a beat "Let's have a Yankee Trivia contest, and we'll see" Rudy would win against The Schwab.

I never said "BETTER RED THAN DEAD", nor did I infer nor imply such a thing.

OTOH, since the MSM has moved the GOP into a permanent RED STATE position, ignoring decades of historical moves out and into the colors red and blue, by the winning and losing parties, YES, FAR BETTER RED; meaning far better a map covered in RED, come the election of '08. Don't you agree?

As an aside, I believe Tancredo supports the war. Obviously though, border security is his main issue. But that is wrapped in the larger issue of national security especially in respect to terrorism risks to America.

Those gun laws were existing laws that were on the books in that liberal cesspool long before Rudy was elected mayor and remain to this day.

The whack job nannygate libs that run the New York City Council would have laughed at him if he even attempted to eliminate the anti-gun legislation.

So Rudy chose to attack fraud, fiscal mismanagement and crime using everything that was available to him. And he cleaned up New York despite the liberal whackos in the council. He cut taxes, he took the vermin off the streets, and he DOWNSIZED public employees by standing up to their unions.

Sounds like a true Reagan Republican to me. Law and order, lower taxes and fiscally conservative.

I hardly think he's out to get your gun and on abortion, let's face it, Roe v. Wade is not going anywhere anytime soon. Deal with it.

If it's between Rudy and Hitlery, who would you rather have in office? That choice is easy.

LOL....well, it's okay, another poster claimed that ALL Rudy supporters are "girlz" (sic). Too bad about that spelling, but it isn't one of my usual missed typos, but someone else's problem.

If you have an original thought or opinion, why not post it instead of the cut and paste crap you keep Spamming all the threads with.

I'm sure that if he got on the final ballot 98.8% of the registered Republican voters would pull the lever for him, if for no other reason than he has an "R" next to his name, . . . swing voters and even some "Reagan" Democrats and or other patriotic Democrats who can't stand Hillary. . . How about supporting a honest to God conservative instead of going down the tubes with a half liberal? .

Because all those votes for the half liberal beat all the votes the full liberal will ever be able to muster. And the half liberal voters can be guided by a half conservative winner, while the full liberal voters and their full liberal loser candidate become the butt of jokes for years to come.

That was such a perfect retort.

On any dimension, Rudy would crush her. Take away her repugnance and there is nothing there.

Sadly, even though this is a political forum, not everyone knows nor understands what politics is all about, nor do they know all that much factual history. And when one posts the FACTS about Reagan, one had better be wearing a kevlar suit from head to toe.

That was a GREAT first interview. Rudy smiled, he wasn't wooden, he appeared to be relaxed, and he didn't sound strident nor off putting.
