Those gun laws were existing laws that were on the books in that liberal cesspool long before Rudy was elected mayor and remain to this day.
The whack job nannygate libs that run the New York City Council would have laughed at him if he even attempted to eliminate the anti-gun legislation.
So Rudy chose to attack fraud, fiscal mismanagement and crime using everything that was available to him. And he cleaned up New York despite the liberal whackos in the council. He cut taxes, he took the vermin off the streets, and he DOWNSIZED public employees by standing up to their unions.
Sounds like a true Reagan Republican to me. Law and order, lower taxes and fiscally conservative.
I hardly think he's out to get your gun and on abortion, let's face it, Roe v. Wade is not going anywhere anytime soon. Deal with it.
If it's between Rudy and Hitlery, who would you rather have in office? That choice is easy.
And even as we grieve for those who lost their lives, and our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their loved ones, we may be able to find some sort of meaning in this tragedy by using it as a catalyst to revive national gun control efforts.
