Space shuttle astronaut arrested at OIA on attempted kidnapping, battery charges
Orlando Sentinel ^ | February 5, 2007 | Henry Pierson Curtis

A NASA astronaut is charged with attacking her rival for another astronaut's attention early Monday at Orlando International Airport, the Orlando Sentinel has learned.

Lisa Marie Nowak drove from Texas to meet the 1 a.m. flight of a younger woman who had also been seeing the male astronaut Nowak pined for, according to Orlando police.

Nowak -- who was a mission specialist on a Discovery launch last summer -- was wearing a trench coat and wig and had a knife, BB pistol, rubber tubing and plastic bags, reports show. Once U.S. Air Force Capt. Colleen Shipman arrived, Nowak followed her to the airport's Blue Lot for long-term parking, tried to get into Shipman's car and doused her with pepper spray, according to reports.

Wonder if she uses watered down METH to feed the Africian Violets. Those things can be hard to grow. Too much water and they are dead.

She acts like a redhead.

Hey! I resemble that remark! ;^) But anecdotally speaking: I am a born redhead (as a kid, my hair was the color of a barbecued potato chip until it faded to a gentler russet color in my late 20s). My husband was married twice before he married me 18 years ago. Both of his exes have brown hair about the color of Nowak's, and I KID YOU NOT -- one of them once them pulled a loaded gun on my husband in a crazed rage, and the other one has actually been on Oprah!!! for pure bunk (I won't go into details for fear of being sued). I have seen the fruits of that one's life in her many children by various men, and she is Very Bad News, manipulative, hurtful, ruthless, and absolutely mentally unbalanced.

Typical redhead temper spats are mere raindrops on the Pacific by comparison! Beware BRUNETTES!!! They'll fool you everytime!
