McCain is the absolute worst kind of RINO- an unstable renegade RINO who likes to rub his RINOness in the face of conservatives and ask them how they like it (e.g. Gang of 14, McCain-Kennedy Bill).

McCain is my Senator, but I don't have to tell any of you how unreliable he is.

The thing that I loath about McCain is his constant shifting. Just when you need him, you cross your fingers to hope he will be steadfast and wallah... he joins the Dems, urinates down our backs and tells us it's raining.

I don't think I can pull the switch for an abortion proponent, unless I knew for sure he was going to further the cause for life by appointing the proper judges (which the jury is still out) but I will tell you, if any of you think McCain will appoint anyone better than Rudy to the court???...... Just remember how many times he screwed us when he was suppose to be with us.

Conclusion - Don't vote McCain over Giuliani. He's no more conservative, maybe less.

He's probably running as a Republican because the DemoSocialist Party's field is too crowded. In any event, he's not a "choice" for Republicans - he's practically a clone of Hillary Clintonista.

Wrong. There isn't two cents worth of difference beteween Giuliani and Hillary Clintonista.

Not a whit of difference between the two, eh?

How did Hillary vote on Alito and Roberts?
How would Giuliani have voted?

THERE'S your difference, pal. Now pick up your toys and go home.

You should revise that to read: THE CLINTON'S ARE COMING.

Don't think so. Wonder what Paul would think about the beginning and end of Rudy's candidacy?

To purchase a gun in the State of New York you have to give your full name, your date of birth, your residence, your occupation. You have to prove that you're a United States citizen, you have to show you are of good character, competency and integrity. And you have to demonstrate a real need for the weapon.

And thanks
in part to our stricter gun control laws, crime is down dramatically in New York City. Shootings are down over 50 percent. Murder is down over 50 percent...

We need a federal law that bans all assault weapons, and if in fact you do need a handgun you should be subjected to at least the same restrictions -- and really stronger ones...

When was the last time a GOP presidential candidate did not get the endorsement from the NRA and GOA?

There's a first time for everything. When was the last time a Republican presidential candidate was this liberal?

There have been some in the past, but the never register on the radar screen. Seems the heart & soul of the GOP is at stake here. From a broad perspective the Democratic Party has moved left to become the Socialist Party of the late 1950's and the GOP is about where the Dems were at that time. The Dems did it progressively over the last 50 years or so, the GOP on the other hand has been in accelerated mode since '95 or so.

I feel the very same way as does most of my friends. But people who voted for Bush, not republicans, hate his guts right now and as longs as Iraq is in turmoil they will go back to voting for the dems. For me I wish we had a strong military leader who was conservative to lead the country. The whole homosexuality movement under Rudi scares the hell out of me. The more pro-homosexual this country goes, the more it will lead to a direct assault on the churches. In other words they will not be allowed to say no to gay marriages. So I guess pray, pray, pray.

If gunowners don't understand these are his true sentiments, they will face a very tough time. If they allow Giuliani to grow in support or go unchallenged it will encourage the Dims to renew their assault on the Second Amendment. At present, they're still too gun-shy.

If you value the Second, Giuliani must be rejected.

I agree! Do we as Americans have the right to have standards on those we wish to hold the highest position of power in this country? There are those who wish only to beat Hillery and I must say I agree with that idea. But it saddens me that I have to hold my nose or give up what I believe in the most because my party has lost it's soul. If there is another attack between now and the election all bets are off,it will go head on for Rudi. This country will not elect a woman when security is at risk even though it is right now. But after another attack no Hillery. And I am a woman who would never vote for Hillery even if I had a gun to my head.

So many people in this country have no idea what any candidate stands for. I know people who will vote for Hillery just because she is a woman and know nothing else. Makes me sick. Especially with all the info on the internet! But then today politics has nothing to do with the people of this country that goes without saying when one looks at the border situation. But I strongly believe another attack and this country will not vote for a woman to be commander and chief and I am a woman.

You're right. An awful lot of female Oprah-like voters out there and it's very disturbing.

I could vote for a Maggie Thatcher. And a number of European queens were pretty warlike.

Just because America doesn't seem to be producing smart tough women in politics doesn't mean a woman can't do the job. I think the reason we aren't producing those women in politics is a strange hangover effect from the Fifties where women are somehow supposed to be more moral, more inclined toward peace, more enlightened. But this ties their hands in being able to present a tougher side to the voters. I blame feminism for having failed to liberate women from June Cleaverism. If women are truly to be equals to men in every way, they also have to be free to be strong and aggressive on defense. Otherwise, they are the captives of a policially correct gulag. June Cleaver with a health plan and a 'dialog' with voters just can't compete with a Margaret Thatcher.

It's also women voters more than men who hold women politicians back from being strong on defense and ruthless on those who attack us.
