I do not care what letter is in front of their name, I do not care how otherwise affable they may be...I simply
will not vote for anyone who gets it wrong on any of the following three issues...
1) Abortion. It is the moral question of our age and all we hold dear, all we base our liberty and freedom hangs in the balance of how we ultimately respond to that question and that holocaust...the most fundamental umalienable right given to us by God.
2) Gun rights. Next to our morality, our ability to defend ourselves is one of the most fundamental rights our founders recognized and enumerated. Never trust the politician who will not trust the common, law abiding citizenry with a gun.
3) Immigration and our borders. The most fundamental duty of government is to protect our soveriegnty and our borders. When they fail at this, it is indicative of what direction they may take on other issues as well.
Giuliani, as I read it, fails my own test on all three. Others are free to decide as they will, but I could not vote for the man on principle alone. In my own estimation, one day I will have to stand before a much higher tribunal and be asked how I exercised this great blessing and responsibilty of freedom. As I live, I shall never stand before my Creator and Savior and indicate that I supported anyone with positions that are so divergent from those that He has bequeathed to us and upon which that blessing and responsibility rest.
Others, of course, are free to see things however they will and vote accordingly.

Oh good then maybe he'll pick Specter or Warner as his running mate. If the GOP is gonna be the Other Democratic Party and destroy itself once and for all it may as well do it right this time.

Are you saying that Republicans should just give up and not even try to stop her by nominating the candidate who has the best chance of beating her?

How does Hillary rate on your "big three issues"?

"Whether people will realize it or not, it tops everything else in importance."
Personally, I feel that if we give up the sovereignty of our Country and make 20 million new poor, uneducated, socialism loving, Democrat voters by a Rudy endorsed amnesty, we eventually won't have much of a Country to protect from the terrorists. We will always have another enemy to fight but amnesty to illegals will affect our Country forever, long past when any current Supreme Court Justice has influence.

Although I'm not so sure the Pubbies aren't moving to the left and leaving us conservatives out to dry.
I don't think so, we are the "pubbies".
The elation of so many that a lib like Rudy is running reaffirms my fears.
Oh most of these would have supported him anyway, they love what he stands for. Why else would they be so excited?

I do not belive that Rino Rudy will appoint conservative Judges. He has a history of appoint liberals to positions. Actions speak louder then words.

The Reagan amnesty didn't destroy the country, but a couple of terrorist nukes would.
To: IntelliQuark
IMHO, Hillary will NEVER be elected president. She's a woman and I don't believe for a second that she would get enough votes. Not from the public and certaily not from any of the old crotchety liberal farts. You really think Ted Kennedy and the like would elect a "woman" to tell them what to do?

He is a much more presentable and personable and likeable candidate than... you know... He also looks better in a dress. Besides which, we know he actually HAS a dress, or did at one time. And said dress was clean.

What kind of judges do you think Hillary will appoint?
The choice is not between your Utopia vs. a less than perfect world, the choice is between a less than perfect world and pure H^&l, if Hillary gets elected.
