Iran: Giant achievements coming soon

Ahmadinejad: On February 11, Islamic Republic's nuclear rights 'will be established'

Yaakov Lappin Published: 02.04.07, 17:13

"Giant achievements" by Iran will be unveiled by its president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in the coming days, the Iranian Fars news agency reported on Saturday.

The Iranian news agency said an upcoming dramatic announcement on Iran's nuclear "rights" would be made on February 11. The report was accompanied by a series of announcements heralding alleged Iranian technological and medical breakthroughs, including an "AIDS cure."

Ahmadinejad's "administration is going to publicize the country's remarkable progresses and achievements within the coming days," the Fars news agency said.

"The Iranian president also reiterated that February 11 is the day when the Iranian nation's inalienable right to access and use nuclear technology will be established," the agency added.

They've been asking to be given a couple of our nukes for a while now, but I think giving 'em a full spread of 444 (a symbol, you know) bunker busters instead should convince 'em what we think of their claim of rights to nuclear (weapons) technology.

They are living in another universe. They are delusional... this might be of use for us.

The AIDS cure is completely bogus of course and is pure propoanda. The purpose of such an announcement is to show the "humanitarian" nature of Iran's technological advancements. By the time the calims are proven to be bogus, Iran's right to nuclear technology will have already been established.

It's all bogus. AckademeWACKJOB has figured out that when he gets headlines with his threats the price of oil goes up. The price of oil now is low and is hurting the Iranian economy. The AID's cure is a tool that will be used against every nation that sanctions and cuts off Iran. The AIDs cure thing is totally bogus. I've never heard of anything in medical research technologies coming from Iran.

Iammadjohn already established the right of Iran to develop nuclear tech and it wasn't just recently. Nuclear rights is a bogus issue at this point.

I suspect the Iranian AIDS "cure" has something to do with stoning the victims. That, or, mandating that homosexuals be celebate (which WOULD go a long way toward curing that particular disease).

Or it could be that they intend to kill all the Jews. That would be why the nuclear announcement and AIDS announcement comes at the same time.

They blame Israel for just about everything, after all. I'm sure that AIDS is some sort of Zionist comspiracy in their thinking.

Is the American public prepared to see a Carrier sunk?
***We run into this same emotional gauge on Taiwan threads. The issue here is over whether we're prepared to sacrifice in order to prevent nuclear exchanges. The emotional gauge with Taiwan is more likely to be no because it's a country which still has not yet even declared independence and it's more of an internal Chinese dispute.
Either way, I fear a loss of resolution on the part of the american public.

Coincidence. I just got a call that told me to watch out for anti-Regime events in the coming week in a specific part of Iran.

Not the Tribal area in the last report. Loose lips etc., holding back disclosure of location other than it is at the borders not Central and will be urban.

BTW - the Regime handed out stock footage graphics of a drug seizure (in hot weather) and expanded on their drug smugglers explanation as follows:

Authorities stopped one vehicle with four occupants on a main road in Isfahan Province (near Bakhtiari tribal region) and "discovered" they were drug smugglers, who then fled and were pursued into the snowy Bakhtiari mountains(without chains?).

These four, with great fire power, then had a huge gunfight with the authorities and managed to kill 14 Regime troops before they were killed.

The populace of the region are holding THREE days of mourning. For FOUR drug smugglers they do not know who happened to flee into their area?

Definitely not mourning the 14 Regime soldiers that these tribes loathe.

What a silly cover story. Only fit for simpletons. Hard to cook up something better when clashes also start inside urban areas like the city of Isfahan.

Don't expect much to come of all this but any disruption of the Regime is better than none. Waiting to see how big the next anti-Regime demonstration will be this coming week.

IS THE AMERICAN PUBLIC PREPARED TO SEE A CARRIER NOT SINK?

Something to ponder on nomadicone.
