Webb's splitting hairs now. He voted for Patreaus (sp) for his abiity to be a military officer, not for the military strategy.

Wallace did remind him that Patreaus is the author of the strategy ;-)

Edwards says we should bring troops home from Iraq because some of them have had multiple deployments. I guess when the troops get tired, you quit the war.

He would not vote for money for the surge, which he calls the escalation.

Now he's talk about about taxes .. says he is against raising them .. but then complains about not enough taxes being paid

Chris is letting Webb ramble on and on and on, and not questioning his premises at all. Could it be that Webb is making so little sense, that Chris is having a hard time sorting through is garbage? Webb quoting Peggy Noonan, not good for Peggy! :-)

James Baker testifying before a committee the other day asked the question.......HOW CAN YOU VOTE FOR PETRAUS AND THEN VOTE AGAINST THE SURGE. Baker really pointed out the utter hypocrisy of the pols.
