Here's how reporters were handled when Truman was President and Americans were sacrificing their lives for Korean freedom.

Full Wartime Censorship Placed on Korean News January 9, 1951

1.Reporters were placed under jusrisdiction of the army and were not allowed to criticize Allied conduct of the war.

2. Dispatches were screened to make sure they would not hurt morale.

3. Newsmen who reported troop movements without authorization could be court martialed.

4. Casualties could not be revealed before official publication.

Great nuggets as usual. Just saw few minutes of the Breck girl on MTP. He has unique strategy of dealing with terrorists. He wants to negotiate with them from a standpoint of weakness. Let's give them a parking ticket and scare the daylights of of them. Typical.
