Edwards wants universal health care. First we get rid of Bush's tax cuts for over $200,000 per year, collect taxes that are already owed, and yes, he would raise taxes.

Edwards says both Iran and Syria have an interest in not having chaos in Iraq.

Yes, just like Nazi Germany didn't want chaos in Poland in late summer, 1939. So they invaded it, killed millions, and took it over. Just like that, John?

It all fits the basic Democrat plan, which is to criticize whatever the Bush administration does. It's also convenient, because you don't have to plan ahead or work out details among people who don't agree on an actual plan.

The only thing the Democrats fear is that the war in Iraq will still be going on during the 2008 election campaign, because then the candidate might make a mistake and talk about what they would actually do. That would require measurement and performance, rather than reaction.
