1.Reporters were placed under jusrisdiction of the army and were not allowed to criticize Allied conduct of the war.2. Dispatches were screened to make sure they would not hurt morale.
3. Newsmen who reported troop movements without authorization could be court martialed.
4. Casualties could not be revealed before official publication.

Timmy showed Edwards giving an interview during the 2004 campaign...and Edwards was asked if he had that chance to vote differently for the war in Iraq...given the way the war has turned out...would he now want to change his vote....
Edwards THEN said..."No, I wouldn't...Saddam still needed to be taken out...and we need a stable democracy in that region".
Well...NOW, he is saying his FIRST vote in 2002 was a mistake...so Timmy asked if he is saying his first vote was a mistake...then why did he STILL say during the 2004 campaign that it was STILL a good vote to go to war in Iraq??
Edwards said something about the stress of the campaign,..and then said they had found out about Elizabeth's cancer....so, yeah, he had made a "mistake" in 2004, by saying we still should have gone to war!

I don't have a TV in my office but IIRC she went from the hit morning show to 2 hours by herself in the morning and now she is down to one hour. I could be wrong.

I came in right at the half hour on Lil Timmah's show. He was asking about the NIE and how it said that Edward's plan would result in the worst possible outcome. Edwards took a page from Joe Biden's book and talked and talked and talked, obviously hoping that something he said would sound good and stick. Never mind that he contradicted himself almost every other sentence or that he never actually answered the question.
The only difference between Edwards style and Biden's stream of consciousness babble is that Biden is an ADHD motor mouth and Edwards is southern drawl slow. Edwards is Biden on Quaalude.
Did the mansion get mentioned in the first half of the show?
Lil Timmah just asked a question about socialized medicine, prefacing it with "universal health care, that's a noble goal." Don't bring your preconceived socialist notions into this Timmah, just ask straight questions!
I believe Kelly is her maiden name, if I'm not mistaken.
I read last week that Warner is GOOD friends with Rep. Jim Moran...and Moran, is a MORON...so, I wouldn't trust Warner's taste in friends.
Who knows...maybe Warner didn't fight hard for Allen to keep his seat because he and Webb...having both been Sec. of Navy and all, had a "secret" deal.
Not watching, but presuming that potato head stayed away from any environmental questions to edwards so there would be no chance of dicussing the clearcutting of thousands of trees surrounding his new mansion.

Your govt. seems to be dealing it well there & in Iraq as well..
