I don't just object to Rudy for his so called "social positions"; that many have pointed out (but I have yet to see evidence of) that he WOULD wish/work for these to be decided by the states. He is still a liberal on a whole host of other issues such as gun controll, probably spending, increasing government regulations. There are many others in the 'field' that can be Rudy, and Hillary and are actually conservative; I don't care how big the band-wagon gets I (this conservative) will Not support Rudy in the Rep. Primary..!

Giuliani MAY be anything that will get him what he wants. He is not a Reaganite, and does not have the ability to unify our nation. Mayoral politics a president does not make.
Witness Rudy's ominous refusal to insert a party affiliation on his candidate filing. Rudy means to run as an independent , rather than throw his support behind better men than he is, Duncan Hunter, for example, or Newt Gingrich.
Move that into the presidential offices and you will have New York City mayoral tantrums and dirty back streets of New York politics which will leave our nation reeling.
