Why not invest some of the goverment treasury in Exxon/Mobil and take part in realizing "obscene profits"? (cattle futures suddenly come to mind, but I digress). Oh, of course, Uncle Sam would also have to absorb the losses in down years, eh comrade Hillary?

Those profits are already in a "strategic energy fund", since the oil companies plow them back into finding and exploiting new oil fields. The only thing Her Highness wants to change is who controls the money - i.e., herself.

Maybe we need to retroactively tax short term investments a lot higher--say as in cattle futures.

Total from just those three lines of taxes: $95.598 billion

So, in 2005 taxes were nearly three times the net profit. How much more does that Stalinist want?
Agreed. I don't know how any man could vote for her, after hearing her speak-she sounds like a typical shrew laying down the law to her (first) husband. I turn the volume down to just above zero, and she's STILL annoying!

Don't you LOVE how she gradually raises her voice near the end of that sentence in order to build up for a rousing applause.

While I'd love to hear her infamous words, my computer won't emit any sound even though I've check the volume control, and it's working fine. The picture is fine but no sound.
