Total waste. Neither has a chance.

Neither does Newt.

It's another year for token candidates. The party isn't even trying.

"An official with McCain, who has moved to lock up key New York fund-raisers, said the senator is "keynoting" and "proud" to be there, while a Giuliani aide said the ex-mayor, too, was pleased to be "keynoting."

I really think this is another sign that McCainiac is the anointed one for '08 as far as the GOP money is concerned.

Looks like to me that the GOP wants McCain to win the Republican nomination. Guess they want Hillery to win in '08!

Joe Mondello was a waste as a county chairman, and just as awful on the state level. He was completely useless during critical senatorial elections, namely Hillary's.

Is Rudy going to run as a Republican, or as an independent in the general election?

I do not know, but I think McCrazy would in very nicely with the Know Nothing Party, if only he was not so pro illegal immigration.

I actually think Newt would win - though he hasn't declared yet, obviously.

I remember just a few years ago everybody on both sides of the political aisle laughed at a Hitlery candidacy, and universally agreed she couldn't win.

All this fear at FR - all this "unbeatable Hitlery" crapola. When the Hell did Hillary Clinton suddenly become nearly unbeatable?

Kind of like 1996.
