Oh, I know! There are a few Freepers around here who are like lightning rods for crappy candidates. If you see them supporting somebody you can rest assured its a loser.

"No she is not, she has never gotten over 45% support in any rat poll. Remember they love electablity and they know that about 40% to 45% of people polled say they would never vote for her."

Never underestimate the power of the clintons in the dumbocratic party.

IMHO, unless something dramatically negative happens to her, it's hers.

You give the media too much credit. People in the South, the Midwest and in the West do not typically get their news from the elite liberal press. I'm sure we will get a rehash of all the dirt from the past dozen years or more.

You know, I guess I'm one of those people that you Rudy supporters hate - but it was the attitude of some Rudy supporters that turned me on to Duncan Hunter.

I resent being told that Rudy is our candidate & that there is no other this early in the game. I have an open mind about who I want to see as our candidate, but it seems many Rudy posters' minds have closed shut. I see a lot of Rudy people on these threads being rude & intolerant as well as the ones I see threatening to leave the party if he is nominated.

It's sad we can't have open discussions without people being mocked and threatened.

. If your boy in a dress can't take the heat, stop telling lies to the people.

Find any post where I have supported Rudy or be known as a liar.

I read all the DH threads to learn, a really decent guy, I am a little concerned how he handled a few situations (Thoshiba, OVERDRAFTS), for me DH as Secretary of Defense.

I really, really try hard not to interfere on the DH threads, well maybe once or twice :).

I wish Rick would run!

Yeah, too bad. Facing a loss in '06, Rick never wavered and told it like it is. You never know, though, maybe he could be drafted!

I think he would have had tremendous support across the board but, that's my opinion and I better not do like some and speak for others!

And how many times have we seen this? Every election since I've been here. I've never seen them quite as frantic as they are this year though.

Thanks Howlin. The whole political season is starting a year too early, IMO. I like Newt's attitude -- he's going to hang back until late next summer. I would like to think that's plenty of time to make a run.

For now, I like Rudy. I won't be persuaded by folks who pull old stuff up and post it all the time. Heck, I, for one, was a rabid envirowacko who was a Sierra Club member at one time. Positions change and I respect someone who can articulate the reasons for such a change and be believable. I trust Rudy to do that. I wouldn't trust McCain (I believe he's really unstable and most FReepers believe that too) and with Romney I'm just plain uncomfortable (maybe his religion -- I don't know).

I'll look at Hunter, but he's really unknown right now. He'll have to get himself noticed not only out west, but back in the liberal Eastern establishment. Not that his conservative ideas will take back there, but just for name recognition. He'll need a good campaign staff and plenty of money to do that. Other than on FR, no one's heard of him. Time may be on his side, though, we have nearly two years to an election; too long for some, maybe o.k. for an unknown to be recognized.

My bottom line is I want someone who can win in 2008. And those on here who do nothing but say its "my way or the highway" better be prepared for a long walk in the desert if any of the Dems out there, including Richardson, make it into the White House on January 20, 2009.

Since you put it in big bold letters, I guess I have been forced to change my mind and vote against Guiliani.

Now, I think you have ignored my sentiments. I am working for Duncan Hunter. If he does not win the nomination, I will vote Republican whether it is Guiliani, Romney, or McPain. (Man I hope it is not McPain)

What Guiliani has going for him is that I like him and all your spamming isn't going to change that. I like him. I don't agree with most of what he stands for, but I like him and I would have no trouble putting him in the White House to keep Hilliary or Obama or Al Gore out.

McManiac appears to be universally loathed at least here, I would really be unhappy if he were 'da man' but would have to do what I have to do, probably have to hit the Jack a lot that day!
