SAN FRANCISCO -- In the midst of an election year, Mayor Gavin Newsom's campaign manager Alex Tourk has announced that he will step down from his post.
SFGate.com reported Tourk resigned after confronting Newsom for allegedly having an affair with his wife, Ruby Rippey-Tourk.
The admission from Rippey-Turke came as part of a rehabilitation program she has been undergoing for substance abuse, according to sources to the paper.
Newsom refused to comment on the report, according to NBC11.
Rippey-Tourk, 34, was the mayor's appointments secretary at the beginning of his administration in 2004. She worked for the mayor until the spring of 2006, according to the paper.
"It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the Newsom campaigns and the city of San Francisco and its residents," Tourk said in a statement.

If this happened in Chicago, one woman would be 'missing', one Campaign Manager would be a lot richer, and the mayor's approval ratings would be through the roof, and the news media would still be concentrating on 'Tank' Johnson.
Newsom is just such a skank.
Newsom is just AWFUL. Thinks that San Francisco and California by extension are just his to ruin at whim.
I bet the "missing" woman would still cast a vote!

Divorce in California is a by-the-numbers proposition. Lawyers can plug the facts into a computer program and come within a few bucks of what the final award will be. Doesn't matter whether it's San Francisco or San Bernardino, the same fact set produces the same result.

Ruby Rippey-Tourk, now there's a goofy name. Newsome was married the the hot guilfoyle, they divorced, she got knocked up by some dude and married him. I always thought it was a job requirement that a person had to be gay to be mayor of san fran.
I believe San Francisco has never had a homosexual mayor. Buncha homophobes I tells ya. ;-)

The fact that Newsom is "named" as being "involved" with a woman means NOTHING.....
It DOESN'T prove Newsom is a heterosexual...
At best - it's only evidence to suggest Newsom may be bisexual...

Where I live men don't quit their job because the boss was having an affair with their wife, they go to prison because the boss was having an affair with their wife.
Hrrrmmm. Woman who chooses to hyphenate her last name after marriage, instead of simply taking her husband's name. Hrrrmmm. Then has fling with his boss. Hrrrmmm. Marriage ends in tears and confusion. Hrrrmmm.
Of course, I would never, ever draw any non-PC conclusion from such a case. No, never. I wouldn't want to be sent to Diversity Re-Education Internment Camp. Not me. Can't possibly draw any inferrence or logical conclusion from such data. No way. Means nothing. Just random facts which add up to nil. The universe is entirely random. Nothing means anything...
