I never think of Newt as an MSM pet. Unless he is criticizing Bush, then he's their hero.

Victor Davis Hanson supports Romney?

I can't say that I'm really surprised. But that is an impressive endorsement. Very impressive indeed.

"

he's gone beyond parody of political news, directly into the land of legalized talking head prostitution."

I agree! The Factor is becoming tedious,as that damn Tuesday night body language segment proves. The adulation O'Reilly has for Al Sharpton's opinions also dismays me.

"I like Newt but I don't know that he's getting into the race."

He's in -- he's just smart enough to let the also-rans commit suicide and, at the same time, minimize the time the MSM has to work him over.

"Sadly charisma and looks are an important factor in our political system. Romney, unlike many of the GOP contenders, has this. So does Obama."

You've got to be kidding.

Obama despite all the grooming he's been getting, still looks like a cheap lawyer.

Ann Coulter isn't the only conservative pundit who admires Romney.

Remember, Ann only favored romney out of the SMALL handful of supposed contenders that o'reilly mentioned.

Sounds like she agrees with MOST Freepers that rudy is a RINO, and not worthy.

Some of us remember Newt's abysmal, negative public opinion numbers from his House leadership days.

Newt is dead meat as a presidential candidate. Smart man. Terrible presidential prospect.

Whats does his stance on guns and abortion on the state level have to with the national level?

Plenty.

My right to own a gun does not end at a state line.

The right to a trial by a jury of your peers before you are killed, no matter how old you are.

>>Any Republican over any dimocRAT that is running. Now if Zell Miller were on the Dim ticket I would have to give that a serious vote.

Can I second that nomination?

I still show his clip from the convention to anyone who does not know who he is.

Perhaps, but money matters, and if you want to get it, you have to show some upward mobility.

I think you are absolutely correct. I think his plan is to ride in on his white horse at the end of the year when the conservatives realize Romney is a farce and there is no acceptable candidate in the field. His best chance is to ride that first wave of momentum into the primary rather than peaking too soon like Howard Dean did in '04.

They were about the same as the current Speaker's ratings and their treatment from the MSM couldn't be more different.

I repeat, we can't let the MSM, wholly owned PR for the Dummies, pick our candidate.

Over at the Corner, K-Lo seems to have gotten over her infatuation with Romney. Now Ann seems to have caught a case of it.

She must be very ill-informed about his record.

Hey, Ron Paul is running, too, can't believe he was omitted.

A lot of people don't realize that sometimes people just get in the race to bring their party back to the right (or left) or to bring certain issues to the forefront.

I was disappointed that Hunter wasn't mentioned because I think Ann would like him and what he stands for.

FWIW. When I saw Ann endorse Romney on Hannity & Colmes about two weeks ago, at that time she mentioned that she also liked Hunter. At this point, it seems she is leaning towards Romney due to the electability factor.

This is pretty interesting too:

This morning on Laura Ingaraham, Laura talked about having dinner with Romney last night. Apparently they have been friends for a while. Laura told him she will hold him to the line and Romney said something to the effect (her words) that he assumed as much. Laura has been reported on occasion to say some pretty pro-Romney comments, as seen here.

LOL.

The Romney team claims that Victor David Hansen is one of their policy advisers because Romney talked to him. He has NOT endorsed Romney.

That foreign policy adviser list was discussed on RedState. Its frankly a bit deceitful of the Romney campaign to put that out as if they were all supporters of his.
