So I know we're rocking the 50s, but there's something older than that on TV tonight: my wife and daughter are in the living room making fun of the Miss America Pageant. They've been doing this off-and-on for the last 10 years or so.

The sad thing is that the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS, which will probably cover the pageant tomorrow, didn't even list it in their weekly TV listings. Why not? Because the pageant is being telecast on CMT! And they don't carry the listings for CMT. So they didn't even bother listing it as a highlight for the week or the night.

My, how the mighty have fallen.
I saw part of the introductions (P-W). One of those "girls" looked about 40, and the next one about 30. And that was my daughter talking (but I agreed).

Well, at least they didn't broadcast it in the middle of the night like they did last year.
