Pure spin. Of course the doper is a scumbag. The thing is, though, he is making the scumbag a very rich man by his overzealous prosecution. He didn't need to go as far as he did but he did and he did it because he wanted to succor the scumbag. There really are people that low who will choose a scumbag over a just man or even an honest man who makes mistakes. Leftwing lawyers are case in point. Sutton is worse than a leftwing lawyer though - he is a politically ambitious Nifong who is tryin to fool people into thinking he is rightwing and cares about justice. The facts of his actions do not support this and he should be treated as a liar and a dissembler and a Trojan horse for the leftwing lawyer left because that's exactly what he is. Given a choice of a scumbag or an honest man, he chose the side of the scumbag because that is what he values.
He doesn't sound like Nifong to me. It sounds like his office built a solid case.
