In an ideal world, we'd all like peace. But this isn't an ideal world. Better to be fighting them there than here.

I bet most of these 'peace niks' are anything but peaceable in their discussions with people that disagree with them. They're usually the first ones to take the verbal 'first shot'. (The signs many of them are carrying bear witness to that fact.)
