If by Christians, you mean fundamentalist social conservatives, you would be correct. They are donating to Rudy's campaign, at least the one's in Michigan.
So the grand pronouncements by the self-proclaimed conservatives on the Rudy threads, that they will never vote, much less support him, are provably false.

If we don't continue to fight and win the war on terror...nothing else will matter. If we need to elect Rudy for that reason only...He will have my vote. We can fight out the social issues, but if we lose the war...my already born children will be in perile.

Richard Miniter was interviewed on the radio Friday A.M. He writes for National Review Online and is author of "The Shadow War", "Disinformation" and "Losing Bin Laden - How Bill Clinton's failure's unleashed global terror" - well conected in political circles.
He stated that Rudy is getting the Social Conservative Republicans in Michigan to write checks to his campaign. They hear what he has to say and they are liking it. If he's able to get Michigandrs to no only support him, but write checks, he should be able to get the same results countrywide.

If you e-mail Mr. Miniter, he would no doubt confirm the statement. He didn't state where he got the information, he just passed it along. Very inside stuff, I suspect.
Well I don't know what rock you've been hiding under, but Bloomberg has come against us. He has been operating an illegal sting operation against legitimate gun dealers using proxies to carry out illegal straw purchases of weapons from federally licensed dealers here, and in several other states as well. And if you have been paying attention he and his mayoral minions have basically given congress an ultimatum (not sure how he'd carry it out), pushing for draconian gun laws nationwide by 2008, or else.
As for Webb, don't blame me for that.

If one were of a mind to minimize the significance of the information, one could put it in those terms.
Now, if I were to go on a local talk show and say such things, then yes, all you would have is one person on a talk show making a claim.
Richard Miniter has many more sources and time to investigate such information. I would think he ought to be taken far more seriesly than some anonymous caller making a claim.
