Uh, you do know that's not how it works, don't you?

When you post something and someone asks you to back it up, you are supposed to supply the links to prove your point.

It's called the Ronald Reagan Freedom Award, not the Reagan Medal of Honor.

The list of recipients is available at the presidential library website. The first recipient was Gorbachev, is he presidential material? How about Colin Powell? He got one too.

Did you not see the link I supplied upthread? It was clearly called the Reagan Medal of Freedom Award.

So are you saying that Ronald Reagan is telling us from the grave to vote for Rudy Giuliani?

Holy poltergeist, Batman!

You claimed, repeatedly, that Rudy's book was the only book not about Reagan or presidential planes or ships available in the library book shop.

A correction is in order. Peach claimed, and I quote, "Of all the books in the Reagan Library, there is only one that isn't devoted to Reagan or presidential ships and planes. And that book is Giuliani's book on leadership." She said nothing of gift shops or books for sale. She clearly made the implication that the Offical Reagan Library archives contained only one book besides all of Reagan's documents and books. And that was Giuliani's book. As you noted, she made the claim more than once but she's now backpedaling on what she claimed but still moronically sticking to it. Just thought I'd clear that up before you let Peach get away with anything.

So that's all you've got now. Making stuff up. Pathetic.

I know, I was trying to be nice and not infer that anyone would actually believe that the only book in the library was Giuliani's. Now I'm convinced that all the distortions were intentional.

The minute someone mentioned it was the gift shop and not the Library itself, I stopped posting it that way. But keep lying to make your point.

And just because I know it ticks you off and you don't have the common sense (or intelligence, clearly) to ping someone when you mention them, I'll repost this because I know it ticks you off:

Rudy Giuliani won the Reagan Medal of Freedom.

Check your own link, it's called the Ronald Reagan Freedom Award. The words "honor" and "medal" never are used, except by you.

This fellow at the Hoover Institute (at which Reagan was an honorary member) certainly thinks Rudy is good for the GOP.

Here's your original post on this thread. The only true statement is that Giuliani was #3 in the Reagan justice department.

To: Spiff

Of all the books in the Reagan Library, there is only one that isn't devoted to Reagan or presidential ships and planes. And that book is Giuliani's book on leadership.

Giuliani worked as the #3 man in the Reagan Justice Department and Reagan greatly admired Rudy.

Giuliani received the Medal of Freedom from Ronald Reagan.

I'm posting this for at least the second time, probably the third:

"When former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani receives the Reagan Medal of Freedom tonight in Los Angeles for his heroic actions after the Sept. 11 attacks, he'll be introduced by an old friend -- GOP nominee for governor Bill Simon Jr."

http://www.tjwalker.com/sfchroniclemarch02.htm

Do you care to tell me again that Medal isn't used there?

Hate to tell you this but you can never run for office since you are divorced! :) In fact, how did we elect Ronald Reagan? He should never been allowed to run either!

Don't you know we have to have only candidates like Carter who said he committed a sin when he lusted for someone now. (sarcasm)

Can you believe these folks? Very few can meet their standards and if a candidate did, bet they would be spineless, appeaser, kumbyaya types!

Could care less if someone is divorced. Rudy seems perfectly happy now and you can tell when you see the two of them together they enjoy each other's company.

You posted a mistake from a news article. Why don't you try finding the correct name of the award. Here, I'll help you out.

McCain is 70 years old and has had several recurrences of malignant melanoma on his face and arms. In addition, he's mentally unbalanced and unstable. It's going to be Giuliani and people need to suck it up and get ready to face the real enemy that is Hillary Clinton.

Thanks for posting that. My sentiments exactly!

You really are ignorant, aren't you? You're showing it in every post.

This from someone who can't even get her own damn facts straight.

What I'm showing, by talking about Reagan's record, which was far from perfect, is that in today's climate, you purists would be hysterical over Reagan's ascendancy in the party.

Bullcrap. Folks nowadays would be thrilled to see someone like Reagan in the race. You, however, seek to make your guy look bigger by making Reagan look smaller. All it does is show your own political mendacity.

This coming from someone who said Reagan signed TWO abortion bills by citing Wikipedia.

You only need to admit you were wrong, but you're too small to do that.
