A ROW has erupted over Muslim-only washrooms at La Trobe University that can be accessed only with a secret push-button code.
Muslim students have exclusive access to male and female washrooms on campus, sparking claims of bias and discrimination.
The university and Islamic leaders have defended the washrooms as vital to Muslim students' prayer rituals.

Australian Family Council spokesman Bill Muehlenberg said concerns over the exclusive facilities were valid.
"Do we have a Christian washroom or an atheist washroom?" he said. "The whole thing is madness."

"If Muslims are saying 'we are good Australians and want to integrate', why are they insisting on separate washrooms?" he said.
Victorian Muslim community leader Yasser Soliman said the washrooms were necessary.
He said the separate facilities were also due to concerns from non-Muslim students.
"Muslims need to wash their feet before prayer and in the past there have been complaints about them washing their feet in sinks, so this is a happy medium," he said.
Mr Soliman said most universities provided Muslim-only prayer and washrooms for students.
A La Trobe University spokesman said the washrooms were established with the advice of senior Muslim religious leaders.
He said the university also had a Christian chapel with a meeting room and four chaplains from major denominations had offices.
La Trobe University Christian Union vice-president Richard Thamm backed the washrooms.
"It's part of their religion, they need to wash in a special way before they pray," he said.

A friend of mine is a truck driver. He said there's nothing worse than walking into a McDonald's bathroom which has been taken over for ablutions.
He also said that some places in Michigan he has seen signs posted on the drinking fountains that say "Drinking Water Only" to discourage people from performing their ablutions at the water fountains.

Special washrooms, Dont matter how many times they wash they will never be able to get the Satan out of them. We in America really need to WAKE UP as to what is really in store for us if we keep Appeasing the Enemy. Both statements are lies. In fact, Muslims are forbidden to pray, or even mention allah or Muhammads name while going to the washroom.
Muslims need only to wash (preform abulation) their hands and face before prayer, (especially if they touched a woman) not their feet.
If no water is available, they can use dirt. (dirt is cleaner than women according to Islam)
This is just more "in your face" muslim BS posturing.
Having "sex" (if it can be called that) in public washrooms is pretty much a "religious act" for gays.

So very, very true. There are times when I think western civilization has already surrendered to them and we just haven't been informed yet.
Soon we'll see separate water fountains, the nice one giving out cold water, for "Muslims only".

The Koran says they should use an odd number of stones (best) but they can use any object they find on the ground. Maybe this bidet bum washing is a newer tradition, a result of complaints by Muslims that the "believer" in front of them had ka-ka matted in his butt hairs, or skid marks. Or perhaps the bidet is needed for students to clean up after private lessons from the Imam, how about to clean up AFTER prayers? all that prostrating, especially if they have the flu Is know to cause anal discharge, and according to one hadith, little nuggets left on the mosk floor.
