A young disabled man who receives care for his life-limiting illness at a hospice run by a nun spoke yesterday of his decision to use a prostitute to experience sex before he dies.
Sister Frances Dominica gave her support to 22-year-old Nick Wallis, who was born with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Sufferers usually die by their thirties.
Mr Wallis told staff at the Douglas House hospice in Oxford that he wanted to experience sexual intercourse. He explained that he had hoped to form an intimate and loving relationship with a woman, but his disability had acted as a barrier.
He told The Daily Telegraph: "It was a decision two years in the making and I discussed it with my carers and my parents. Telling my mother and father was the hardest part, but in the end they gave me their support.

What to say?How about "Why are we even reading about this?"
Why people feel the need to share this stuff is beyond me.

My own wife was the first person who proposed a theory about "food, sex and sleep" (she left out money) and that was in 1977, a year before we got married. This was just a normal part of our conversation, this theorizing. As far as I'm concerned , my wife invented that equation. Yay, Susan!

LOL, a little different "Boys Town" The irony wasnot missed by all. In Hollywood, the gay pay of town is openly called "Boys Town" ... lovely homes all cared for and decorated beautiffully by their male owners.
Closer to me is the "Swish Alps" in the Hollywood Hills. Very similar.

"Who needs to know about this sad case?"It's Angican church agitprop. I'm sure the reporter agreed with the plan. They were evangelizing.

"Most men I know are interested in being something more noble than the collection of their basest biological impulses." Yeah, wanting food is so selfish and self-centered of men.

What a cruel world and cruel God it would be if a disabled virgin will lose his "soul" fulfilling a biological need instilled in all of us. Who gave us that need?
I believe in a loving and merciful God. I think He will understand the disabled virgin's predicament. I think God will wish to have a conversation with the clergy.
I understand what you are saying, but the real story is that the clergy assisted with this. I don't think the clergy should be acting as a pimp.

He already has one disease, why try for more, poor thing. No one blinks aneye at this story, but if the story was about a 22 year old girl tying to lose her virginity before she died, people would think twice about the appropriateness of people of the cloth arranging this escapade.

The need that G-d gave us also comes within a certain context and that is MARRIAGE. That is in His holy Word. So while I sympathise with this young man's plight, he would have been better off to have gotten counseling. He could achieve sexual release without having another person present. It was seemed to be about the virginity thing with him.

"What a cruel world and cruel God it would be if a disabled virgin will lose his "soul" fulfilling a biological need instilled in all of us." The boy didn't need sex. The story is about the evangelists preaching the word of Larry Flint. It will be the evangelizing God will be get cruel over.
