"...Prosecutors accused Maiden and Dreamer of secretly reviewing preselected ballots before a public recount on Dec. 16, 2004. They worked behind closed doors for three days to pick ballots they knew would not cause discrepancies when checked by hand, prosecutors said..."

Vote Early, Vote Often
Vote fraud is now far easier to do and far less likely to be detectable, thanks to the electronics.
RATS?
Thank you for posting that as a clickable link. I guess I should've hit enter after I added it to my original comment.
I wonder how long those two will continue to be employed by the board of elections.
"Don't buy another vote, I won't pay for a landslide."
Joseph P. Kennedy during the 1960 WV Democratic primary.
The corrupt Democrats will now find it very easy to rig elections with the electronics and get away with it.
'It's not the people who vote that count, it's the people who count the votes'
Josef Stalin
You are exactly right and I agree totally.
It may seem like it's hopeless to improve things, but that had to be how it felt at Valley Forge a couple centuries ago, too, but they kept on.
Our best guarantee of prevention of a lot of vote fraud will be the eradication of the paperless electronics.
"I wonder how long those two will continue to be employed by the board of elections."
probably get promoted, that would be the norm for govt employees
Truthfully I can't tell if they are Democrats or Republican, but they say something about Ohio and Texas. Does not sound good for the Republicans. But the article is not written very good.
The Democrat motto, "It's not weather you win or loose, it's how many times you vote that counts the most"
About the 20th rehash of the same recycled AP story, this one from Houston, Texas (pot calling kettle?). I suppose it might be worthwhile to gather them all up and see what editorial transformations happened from paper to paper, but that's about it.
Good point.
The corrupt Democrats won't even need to arrange for extra people to vote illegally, now that they have the electronics. They can lose votes, switch votes, and add votes with ease and little risk of detection.
OT
Anything new on that WI sham websites story?
Well, this story underlines the fact that we really don't want to use 'elections' systems which would depend on the assumption of trustworthiness of those employed by the boards of elections.
The paperless electronics are ideal for vote fraud.
