Muslim Groups Opposed to ABC's Hiring of Radio Talk Show Host
(CNSNews.com) - Three Arab and Muslim American advocacy groups are voicing their opposition to ABC's "Good Morning America" hiring talk-show host Glenn Beck, claiming he has "an obvious anti-Arab and anti-Muslim prejudice in his broadcasts." The Arab American Institute, American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, and the Muslim Public Affairs Council claim Beck made "threats and blatantly inaccurate statements" on his show. The groups sent a letter to ABC/Disney asking for a meeting to detail their concerns. They have also launched a membership action campaign urging supporters to contact ABC News over Beck's hiring. "[Glenn Beck's] addition to 'Good Morning America' would disseminate his prejudiced, openly-hostile and ignorant commentary to an even broader national audience, and diminish the credibility of your reputable and highly-rated news show," said the groups said in the letter to ABC. "To provide a platform for his hateful speech is dangerous and irresponsible, and we strongly and urgently implore you to reconsider this move," they wrote.
I LOVE Glenn. :) He's one of my favorites to listen to.
AS long as muslims bully others and get their way, this Sh!t will continue.

And as long as we take it (gawd I'm so sick of it already) and the media accepts this kind of crap, hook line and sinker, the more emboldened they get.

Well, he's anti-Islamic jihadist, anyway.
He has a great radio show, and a nightly TV show on CNN Headline News, amazingly enough.
He's also incredibly funny.
Really. I'll look up his program.
I'm thinking that ABC could be looking down the road a bit. The '60s and early '70s kids have the reins right now (ie: they gots the influence and the buying power), and so the networks and other mainstream media presently kowtow to their liberal leanings. But the more conservative '80s Reagan kids are fast approaching their turn at the wheel, and people like Glenn appeal to them bigtime.
The smart media people realize you go where the money is. And the need to appeal to those grown-up Reagan-era kids is just around the corner.

Currently, Glenn Beck is on CNN's 2nd channel Headline News (202 on Direct TV).
Glenn Beck is AWESOME. He is also on the radio, and he is terrific. He is the funniest, smartest guy on any broadcast. Rush wishes he could be Glenn Beck.
