I can see them backing down. After all, aren't they the station that broadcasts "Grey's Anatomy"? And isn't the actor (from that show) that offended some homosexual's sensibilities being forced to undergo "treatment" for his alleged "homophobia"? So, having ABC back down from offending some Muslims isn't a far stretch at all.

Glenn Beck is front and center with the Islamist threat. He is constantly espousing his fear that this is being underplayed and whitewashed. He often airs the propaganda that is being rammed down the throats of people (especially children) in the Middle East. I am amazed that he is still on CNN. He tells it like it is. I like that.

Unfortunately, his radio show used to be broadcast (delayed) in my area, but Sean Hannity replaced him. I like Sean, but I really used to get some belly laughs from Glenn.

I hope ABC doesn't buckle.

I'm thinking that ABC could be looking down the road a bit. The '60s and early '70s kids have the reins right now (ie: they gots the influence and the buying power), and so the networks and other mainstream media presently kowtow to their liberal leanings. But the more conservative '80s Reagan kids are fast approaching their turn at the wheel, and people like Glenn appeal to them bigtime.

The smart media people realize you go where the money is. And the need to appeal to those grown-up Reagan-era kids is just around the corner.
