I met a guy up here in Massachusetts the year before last...I was getting a fill up, and the guy filling his car pointed to my Bush/Cheney bumper sticker and said "I don't see a lot of those up here". I looked at his car and saw a bumpersticker for the 82nd Airborne, and we began talking.
He was a Physician Assistant/Medic, and he said what we see on the news in this country is NOTHING like what it was like in Afghanistan. He seemed pretty angry about it, too.

I was born in NYC in 1951. I have resided in various parts of NYC except for almost nine years of active duty. I can't see any errors in the article. NYC's descent before Rudy was pretty awful. Rudy couldn't have written a more persuasive article, save edit it for brevity.
