Carrie Update! (Gretchen’s cousin) Yea, got an email from mom, Mary..

Dear Friends,
Thank you for your prayers for Caroline. I have some updates to let you know about:
1. We finally got a breakthrough with insurance and their purchase of a monitor for her oxygen level. We’ve needed this a long time and it is a relief to finally get progress with it.
2. She has a rash that we don’t know the cause of. I suspect it is due to an overabundance of yeast in her system, but it remains a mystery.
3. We are meeting with a woman who analyzed her blood tomorrow. She will help by making suggestions for adjustments to Carrie’s diet.
4. I ran into a friend yesterday at the health food store. She is a portrait painter that Carrie always admired and wanted to emulate. Her daughter and Carrie were good friends in high school. So there is a special connection. She is battling cancer using natural methods and was a wealth of information. I am thankful we ran into each other.
5. We have had some encouragments and some discouragements. I usually try to be upbeat in these letters, but it isn’t always easy. I am encouraged by the Word of God and that we can speak to this mountain and it will be moved. I am discouraged by a seeming lack of progress and trying to figure things out myself and not knowing answers. I do believe that God is doing things in the spiritual realm that we cannot see. And there were a couple of days last week that were very lighthearted and hopeful and I am grateful for that.
6. We are not giving up.
7. The next prayer “open house” is this Friday, March 7, from 2-3:30

Many trials in the Lansing Area have led us to declare that what is currently in Heaven we pull down in faith to Earth! Especially Miracles and Healings and Deliverance in the Name of Jesus...we remember Caroline and declare that what is currently in Heaven we pull to Earth because of what Jesus has done on the cross! God, we ask, would you speak your creative word into Carolines’ ear and awaken her both physically and spiritually. Cause everything within in her to work together for total and complete recovery! Father would you put the power of your Word on ours and ignite the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus in Caroline.

GREETINGS FROM NORTHERN MICHIGAN.WE ARE REJOICING WITH YOU IN EVERY NEW THING THAT IS HAPPENING WITH CARRIE. I FELT I SHOULD SHARE WITH YOU SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY IN OUR PRAYER SESSION. WE USUALLY MEET EVERY TUE ABOUT 10:00 AND PRAY UNTIL NOON. THERE IS THREE OF US AND SOMETIMES ONE OR TWO OTHERS. BUT MOSTLY JUST THE THREE OF US. WE HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR CARRIE EVERY SINCE I GOT BACK FROM ARGENTINA.
YESTERDAY WAS JUST A VERY TERRIFFIC DAY IN THE LORD. WE DIDN’T FINISH PRAYING UNTIL AFTER 2:30 IN THE AFTERNOON.
I DON’T KNOW JUST HOW TO EXPLAIN THIS, BUT I WILL JUST PUT IT INTO MY OWN WORDS AS I THOUGHT THE LORD GAVE IT TO ME.
WHILE PRAYING FOR CARRIE ABOUT 20 MIN OR SO, I FELT THE LORD TELL ME THAT CARRIE WAS GOING TO BE SHARING HER HEALING TESTAMONY WITH A VERY LARGE CROWD OF PEOPLE AND THAT THERE WAS A LONG LINE WAITING FOR HER TO PRAY FOR THEM. THAT GOD WAS GOING TO RAISE HER UP INTO A HEALING MINISTRY THAT WAS ( IN MY THOUGHTS) EVERY BIT AS LARGE AS KATHRYN KULMAN’S MINISTRY WAS.
SO JUST TAKE IT FOR WHAT IT IS. MY THOUGHTS. BUT I ALSO BELIEVE THAT GOD WAS IN THOSE THOUGHTS. IF YOU REMEMBER WHEN I WAS THERE IN NOV. I TOLD YOU THAT I FELT THAT CARRIE WAS ENTERING INTO THE BIRTHING PERIOD AFTER THE NINE MONTHS. WHICH WAS THE TIME SHE HAD BEEN IN THE COMA AT THAT TIME.
GOD HAS DONE SO MUCH SINCE THEN WITH HER AND WILL CONTINUE. I PRAISE GOD FOR WHAT HE IS DOING. WE MUST REMEMBER THAT DURING THIS TIME , HE IS HOLDING HER HAND AND WALKING WITH HER AND TALKING WITH HER EVERY MOMENT.
SO CONTINUE TO HOLD ON AND SOON WE WILL SEE GOD’S MIRACLE BIRTHED.

Dear friends in Christ,
I didn’t realize you guys were having an open house around the time when I visited. I had not read this email yet. I hope the open house is going well. I was just on my way home and thought it would be a good time to drop in. It was good to come visit and pray again. I am still asking the Lord daily to raise her up and fill you guys with faith as well. Perhaps more people will come and contribute in the future.

Mary and Dennis,
I’m so sorry that I have not been able to be there in body. The updates just remind me to pray MORE, I know that my prayers and spirit bear witness with you and the family. I have been on a fast for Lent and know that the Lord is overjoyed as being able to answer the prayers of his children. Restoration is coming! Our God in his perfection—his healing hand is rebuilding Carrie’s inner man and body. He too is anxious to see Carrie rise up again restored. He will dance over us, his banner raised high over us today and on that day.
What a day of celebration that will be! Surely goodness, mercy and grace chases after us.
His desire to answer our prayers to perfection is far greater than even the heart of an earthly mother or father. That is so hard for my mind to comprehend. This is spritually discerned, spiritual wisdom, speak to our spirits, dear Lord. Hallelujah!

Hi Mary
I did not want to miss time together to pray! I was very glad when I got the email talking about these times of prayer together. I do not forget
about Carrie and your family- and I want to see the supernatural move of God in this situation. Miracles can happen in 2008- although we do not tend to see them on a day to day basis and can’t take God for granted. I think we must labor to receive them sometimes- other times they happen and we might even miss them. I KNOW when we see Carrie healed- nobody will deny who did it! :) I wanted to stay longer- but when my phone rang, I got very distracted and knew I didn’t want to disrupt what was happening in the room!
I don’t want you to worry about greeting me or saying good-bye- I’m not the focus of what this is all about and would never feel slighted or offended.......so don’t worry about it one bit! I hope I didn’t distract as I left.
I’d be happy to share the scripture cards. I believe that it is God’s word that will be the final authority- just as you do. You probably already have these references- but I’ll be happy to share them! :) Love and prayers Judy

hello from Lansing!
Sheila and I are in the US due to Russian visa problems and will have the opportunity to drive up your way on March 17th to pray for Caroline. We will be there around noon.

Thank you for the update. We continue to lift Carrie and her family up in prayers. I have been praying that 2008 is the year that God does the (humanly) impossible.
