Daddy, that one word, Daddy; even when I hear it when I full well know my darling child is nowhere near, I turn, ready to respond with whatever help is needed.
Sometimes I think that my life began the day I became, Daddy.

Did you have an 8mm movie camera at all? You know, black-and-white film. No sound. The funny thing is that my wife and I both have old films transfered onto VHS tape from years ago. I wonder if they'll stand up to another transfer!
My father did ours a long time ago, and just gave them to a guy to do. They are in no order at all, but they span probably 15 years or more. My wife was a bit more meticulous in doing it herself. And I believe that she got all the little reels spliced onto one big reel in the process to make it easier next time.
The problem with my old home movies is that I need to get someone to record a narration. I'm the youngest in the family and for some of the older reels I haven't a clue what I'm watching or even where it is.
