Whenever party affiliation is not mentioned in a political-type story, especially one that involves a scandal, you will 99% of the time be correct if you assume the person in question is a Democrat.
One tidbit in the story gives a big clue as to where they stand: "Kerry gained 17 votes and Bush lost six in the county's recount."
It is a shame but I must agree.
I would be willing to bet it is 99.99% Dem when you are talking cherry picking ballots.
I agree with everything except your percentage - make it 100% and you'll be right on.

Thank goodness its not a big enough scale to make a difference/controversy.
BTW, who commits a crime to rig 20 votes in a big state? Sounds stupid on the surface.
The liberal blogger spin on this is that this story is proof that Ohio was stolen for Bush.
